45 would be another whole tone, more closely to a minor third, and 225 degrees is already there, it´s 135 degree, the counterangle from 225. because we start with the prime at 0° then go up till 180° (Octave) and back, so we get/hear/see a wave ;-)
we already thought about 45° ;-) thanks! our first version back in 2003 was a steady rising of a tone up and down, sounded kinda strange, interesting, but certain tones (points in time) and pauses (= no event) is even more interesting to listen to…:)

we have 36° (10/9) for whole tone and 60° (6/5) for a minor third.
